Jeff Atkinson and myself (Sim Ayres) have for the last two years been bringing story to Menergy, this year we told The Odyssey over 4 tellings, last year we told the Parsifal myth. Our dream is to pass on the telling of stories to a core group of tellers, to share the lessons we have learnt over the years and to energise a new band of story carriers. We envisage a group course over the coming year, both on line and in person, on country. This will involve elements of acting, collaboration, play, poetic language and dreaming into story. There will be a cost involved, though we will keep it to a low ceiling. Next years story at Menergy will be a huge occasion, perhaps with a forty piece orchestra.

"An album of songs by Men for Men"

Our vision is to gather up to 100 men to sing, record and film songs that will become an album. An album of songs to be sung in circles and gatherings around Australia. 

Murray Goodchild in collaboration with The Gentlemen's Choir are creating a project that will feature a selection of original theme songs sung at Menergy since 2014. It will also include and be open for other men to bring their own songs, chants, mantras into the mix for consideration and selection.

The project is not about being a "singer", its about the power of men singing Together! All voices are welcome. No experience required (but very welcome also).
